THICKNESS: The veneer sheets are approximately 1/42″ or .6mm thick. Ends will be taped to reduce the splitting of the veneer. We take special care of all our orders and put a lot of time into handling the veneer so it arrives to our customer the same as it came off the pallet. *Due to the nature of wood movement, shrinkage and expansion are possible. Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike to start with, while the same wood growing in different locales can vary greatly even though it is the exact same species. *There are many factors that influence the color, grain and appearance of natural wood veneer so the picture you see on our website is a representative sample of that species of veneer. The veneer you receive can be slightly different in color and grain appearance because each tree growing in nature is unique unto itself. Another reason for a difference in color is that you are viewing a sample picture on a digital computer monitor and colors will not reproduce the same on all monitors.
